This environmental scan assesses the diversity of mental health resources, programs, and services available to newcomers and offers a breakdown of accessibility. The project employed a mixed-methods approach, which involved a comprehensive review of literature, an online environmental scan of service providers and services, as well as 28 in-depth interviews and surveys with newcomers and service providers. Through this approach, key insights and recommendations were generated, which can serve to guide decision-making on newcomer mental health at both policy and program levels.
