About the Project
AAISA’s Ukrainian Employment Compass Project supports the employment and economic integration of displaced Ukrainians in Alberta. This initiative enhances existing employment programs, opportunities, and support systems while strengthening connections between service providers, employers, and Ukrainian communities.
Through the creation of a comprehensive Employment Resource Hub, an Employment Toolkit, and knowledge-sharing platforms, the project ensures that both traditional and non-traditional newcomer-serving agencies are equipped to assist displaced Ukrainians in securing meaningful employment.
Additionally, the project creates a secondary migration methodology to better predict increases in displaced Ukrainians due to secondary migration.
