AAISA Knowledge Hub (2025–2028)
Project Description
The AAISA Knowledge Hub (2025–2028) is a three-year initiative to develop a province-wide digital platform that supports newcomers, immigrants, service providers, and communities across Alberta. Funded by the Government of Alberta, the Knowledge Hub officially launched on January 16, 2026.
The platform was created to address a common challenge faced by newcomers and service providers: finding accurate, relevant, and timely settlement information in one centralized, easy-to-use space. By bringing together services, data, and trusted resources, the Knowledge Hub makes navigating settlement supports in Alberta easier, faster, and more accessible.

What the Knowledge Hub Offers
The Knowledge Hub is built around three core components:
Service Map
An interactive map of organizations providing settlement and newcomer services across Alberta. Users can search and filter services by location, immigration status, language, type of support, and more. The map also allows users to connect directly with organizations and access an AI assistant that can send information straight to their email or phone.
Data Hub
A visual dashboard presenting settlement trends and service usage across the province. This feature supports service providers, researchers, and community partners by providing insights into newcomer needs within Alberta’s settlement landscape.
Resource Library
A centralized collection of trusted resources from provincial programs, community organizations, and settlement agencies. Resources are organized and summarized to help users quickly find reliable information related to settlement, integration, and life in Alberta.
Project Status and Timeline
The Knowledge Hub is a three-year initiative that commenced in April 2025 and is currently in Phase 1 of development.
Following Phases 2 and 3, AAISA will continue to:
- Maintain and update the platform
- Expand organization listings
- Enhance data insights
- Improve tools for both newcomers and settlement service providers
The project is funded through March 2028, ensuring ongoing support and continuous development.
