2025 AAISA Settlement & Integration Conference – Your Questions Answered
The conference will be held on October 28-30, 2025 at Wyndham Hotel and Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Doors open at 8:00am, and sessions begin at 9:00am.
This is an in-person event only. However, session recordings and materials may be available after the event.
You can register online through [registration link]. Early bird registration closes on May 19, 2025, and final registration closes on October 13, 2025.
The registration fee is $230 for Members- Early Bird and $300 for Non-Members Early Bird. Regular ticket price is $300 for Members and $400 for Non-Members.
Discounted rates are available for students.
Your registration covers access to all sessions, networking events, conference materials, and meals/snacks.
We encourage advance registration, but if space allows, we will accept on-site registrations at a higher fee. Walk-ins are not permitted.
If you have registered for the conference and have not received a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find the confirmation, please contact Nada Brown at nbrown@aaisa.ca for assistance.
Registrations may be transferred to another employee in your organization and requests for transfers of registration fees must be made in writing, via email, by the person who registered originally. View more in the Conference participants and terms section.
No discounts apply to early-bird registration pricing.
All travel costs including air and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. AAISA has secured a block of rooms at the conference rate at the host hotel.
Registration payment is by charge card. View all payment details and rules in the Conference participant terms and conditions section.
Credit card processing problems are generally caused by a mismatch in the billing address of the credit card holder. Check that the address entered matches the billing address listed with your credit card provider or contact your credit card provider to authorize the charge.
Reservations within the conference room block at the host hotel are reserved for registered conference attendees. Your conference registration confirmation email contains a link to make your online hotel reservation in the conference room block.
We suggest business casual attire as appropriate for the event. We recommend you dress as you feel comfortable and remember a jacket or sweater for the air-conditioned theater and exhibit hall.
The full agenda will be available in June. Attendees will also receive a printed or digital program upon check-in.
Yes, we will provide morning and afternoon snack and buffet lunch on Day 1 and 2, and morning snack on Day 3. Soft drinks, coffee, and tea will be available throughout the conference.

We are following current health guidelines . Masks and sanitization stations will be available.
Yes. Cancellations made before October 13, 2025 are eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be issued after October 13, 2025.
The deadline to submit your presentation is Monday, May 19, 2025.
All communications will be with the submitting author as indicated on the submission. Submitters will be notified of the results of the peer review by Monday, June 2, 2025.
All presenters are required to register for the conference.
Poster presentations will be on display Tuesday, October 28, Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30. Presenters will engage with delegates during refreshments breaks or before and after sessions. Presenters will be required to remove their poster presentation by 1:00pm on Thursday, October 30.
Live streaming is not available for 2025 AAISA Settlement & Integration Conference. Unfortunately the audio visual costs to facilitate remote participation are prohibitive to offer a high-quality service.
Sessions will not be recorded, however, presentation slides will be available for review by registered participants. Speakers can request their slides not be made publicly available by emailing communications@aaisa.ca.
